This is a picture of Karen and me swimming at our cottage in Canada. My intentions are to swim 2 to 3 times as far or as fast as I would normally swim when I go up there next. I can’t wait.
I have been practicing some, double walking the stairs several times and parking the car in the furthest spot in the parking lot. It is a trip to notice all of the automatic habits that I have in place for as little exercise as possible and how challenging it is to first of all notice the habit and then to change it. I am so glad that I have given myself this period of time to just notice and raise my consciousness prior to stepping fully in. This practice is also one of delayed gratification and patience, both of which are rather foreign concepts to me and that the me I am wanting to step into has mastery over.
